Tours can be just a few hours, one, two, three days, or longer.

We can cater for groups of 1-6 people, always using an appropriate vehicle to ensure your comfort and safety.

We don't just take you to the important sites, ticking them off as we go. Our aim is to use the evocative, sometimes infamous locations as a catalyst to discuss the events that took place there, elsewhere on the Western Front and around the world, to share years of accumulated knowledge, perhaps to challenge your perceptions and to leave you with a better understanding of the Great War.

We specialise in creating bespoke tours. We will discuss your wishes and put together an itinerary to ensure that your tour takes in all of the sites that are most important to you. For example, you can provide details of a relative who served on the Western Front and we will research him on your behalf, investigate where he fought and incorporate this into your personal tour. This is subject to the information being available as not all records still exist, but we will do our best.

Meeting places can be arranged at your hotel/guesthouse, railway station or anywhere convenient for you. At the conclusion of the tour you can be dropped off back at the start point or anywhere else that allows you to continue your trip (subject to prior agreement).

Introduction to the Somme - 1 Day Tour This popular tour is designed to give visitors an overview of the Somme battles of 1916 and 1918. During the day we visit the important sites of the area; memorials, cemeteries, trenches and front-line areas where we will discuss the significance of each location and place it in context within the four and a half month battle and the Great War generally.

Introduction to the Ypres Salient - 1 Day Tour Another tour for the new visitor or those who have seen a little but who wish to develop a better understanding of the key points of the fierce fighting that took place in the Salient throughout the war.

First Day of the Somme - 1 Day Tour 1st July, 1916, the most disastrous day in the history of the British Army. This tour takes us around many of the infamous sites of that notorious day.

Australians on the Western Front 1, 2 or 3 day tours visiting the significant sites of particular relevance to the soldiers from Australia from 1916 to 1918.

Canadians on the Western Front 1, 2 or 3 day tours looking at the contribution made by Canada in the Great War, including the Newfoundlanders.

New Zealanders on the Western Front 1, 2 or 3 day tours examining the actions of the New Zealand Division from their arrival in France in 1916 until the end of the conflict.

South Africans on the Western Front 1, 2 or 3 day tours following the small, but influential, South African contingent in France and Belgium.
